Is terrorism possible to address without the naming and shaming of its origins? Must the world persist in believing Pakistan's victimhood narrative when innocent lives are being lost across borders? Trinamool Congress MP Abhishek Banerjee finally spoke out in a blunt, piercing address in Tokyo, where he condemned Pakistan's role as a nurturer of terrorism and demanded the world's collective against this growing menace. His inflammatory speeches have not only roused the Indian diaspora but also set the world on fire.
Speaking to the Indian community in a multi-party diplomatic outreach to Japan under 'Operation Sindoor', Banerjee announced India's unflinching stance against terrorism sponsored by Pakistan. Employing biting metaphors, Banerjee compared terrorism with a rabid dog and blamed Pakistan for being its irresponsible breeder, cautioning that it could have worldwide implications if ignored.
Banerjee underlined that India had eliminated nine terror camps without any civilian casualties, highlighting India's precision and sense of responsibility in counter-attacks.
TMC MP alleged that while Pakistan still comes across as a victim, it has always covered up the role of terror outfits such as Lashkar-e-Taiba behind fiction. The delegation including BJP, TMC, CPI(M), and JD(U) leaders aims to enlighten global partners such as Japan on the reality of the April 22 Pahalgam attack and Pakistan's proxy war.
Amidst a world under growing threat from the shadows of terror, voices such as Abhishek Banerjee's ring with clarity and bravery. His call from Tokyo is a reminder that the battle against terror is not political, it is human. When leaders from parties unite to reveal the truth, it unites the world towards action. India is not only protecting its borders it's protecting the principle that no country must endure the threat of violence born out of hate. It is time for the international community to stand as one and say enough is enough.
